Tel Miqne produced a great quantity of Mycenaean IIIC:lb pottery, but not one sherd of this kind was found in the prosperous city of Lachish. This indi-cates that Lachish was destroyed before Monochrome pottery was produced at Tel Miqne, no earlier than the mid-12th century B.C.E.
